Rev. Grant Williams
Rev. Grant has been the lead minister at Home United Church since January 2024. Prior to this, he was in a long-term ministry at St. Andrew’s Georgetown for 19 years. Grant was ordained by Bay of Quinte Conference in 2001 has been serving numerous congregations in the United Church since 1996 in Ontario and in Nova Scotia.
Grant grew up in the Cobourg area and was a candidate for ministry from Trinity United Church, where he was born, raised and his mother still is active. He was called to ministry in 1993 while working as a Lumber Truck Driver. In his 20’s, he was an active volunteer leader with many youth groups at all levels of the United Church, as well as the Pentecostal Church. He was also very active in the Scouting movement for many years.
Grant holds a Diploma in Construction Engineering, Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/ Psychology, Master of Divinity, and a Diploma in Home Inspection.
Grant is married to his wife Tammy since November 2025 when they were married at Home United Church. Together they are a blended family with 4 young adult children, only one still living at home.
Both Tammy and Grant have passions for travelling North America with their Travel trailer in the summers, hiking, cycling, camping, kayaking and renovating homes together. Grant is bi-vocational and owns a Home Renovation and Home Inspection business serving the Halton Hills Area.
Lindsey Duggan
Music Director
Lindsey Duggan, HBMus (Wilfrid Laurier, 2007) began her association with the United Church of Canada in 2004 at Huttonville United and added Home United Church to her ministry of music around 2009/2010. An active member of the local musical community, Lindsey performs with the Rose Orchestra, coaches the Rosebud Youth Orchestra, and serves as Chorus Master for Opera Niagara. Passionate about nurturing young musicians, she enjoys working with youth and maintains a private music studio in the Brampton/Caledon area where she teaches voice, piano, and oboe.
Rev. Debbie Johnson
Voluntary Associate Minister (VAM)
Rev. Debbie Johnson first became connected with Home United Church during a period of collaboration with North Bramalea United Church, where she was serving at the time. When the collaboration concluded, she maintained her ties to Home Church, and after her retirement, became a Voluntary Associate Minister (VAM) at both Home Church and North Bramalea.
Rev. Debbie served as Pastoral Charge Supervisor for Home Church until the appointment of Rev. Grant and continues to offer leadership within the congregation. She also took on the role of preparing the weekly Connections newsletter after Joyce George-Knight stepped down.
Delighted to minister alongside the people of Home Church, Rev. Debbie values the lessons she continues to learn from the community. She holds hope and prayer for a vibrant, thriving future as together they navigate the challenges ahead.
Jennifer Franczek
Director of Sunday School (Children & Youth)
Lay Leader
Jennifer Franczek has dedicated over 15 years to Children and Youth Ministry, nurturing faith and guiding young people in their spiritual journeys. With more than a decade of experience as a Lay Leader, she brings passion, dedication, and a deep sense of community to her church leadership. In 2017, Jennifer graduated from Atlantic School of Theology with a diploma in Youth Ministry. Jennifer also has a certificate in Lay Foundations, Godly Play, Children & Youth Mental Health, N.E.O.S youth program certificate. Jennifer is an accomplished music teacher with over 28 years of experience, sharing her love of music with countless students.
She is blessed with a loving husband, James, and two wonderful sons, Aidan and Kieran. Jennifer is also an active member of the church choir, a driving force in fundraising efforts, and a committed presence in the day-to-day life of the congregation. Her heart for service, music, and community shines through in all she does.
Betty Hanson

Betty serves as the Unified Board Chair at Home United Church, where she faithfully wears many different hats in service to the community. Known for her warm and welcoming smile, she makes everyone feel at home the moment they walk through the doors. Betty is truly a gem, and Home is deeply blessed by her leadership, kindness, and commitment.

She is also a proud member of the Soul Sisters, where her faith and friendships continue to grow and inspire others.

Lois Frazer has been a long-time member of Home United Church and a faithful supporter of its ministry. When the congregation needed someone to step into the role of treasurer, Lois generously offered her gifts. With her skill in numbers and natural sense of organization, she has helped guide the church’s finances with care and dedication, serving both the community and the mission of Home.
